Admittedly this recipe was born from a different recipe that left me with a few extra sweet potatoes. I had to find another recipe to use up the other sweet potatoes. I ended up choosing sweet potato fries because it is simple, fast and didn’t require a lot of ingredients. This is one of those recipes where subtracting or adding ingredients doesn’t hurt the recipe as its more to taste. I added some paprika, cayenne and garlic to give it some kick. But if you are not a fan of spice this can be left out instead. Alternatively you can add some brown sugar for a sweet version of this recipe.
The basics of this recipe is that the sweet potato should be sliced into fry shapes, tossed in a little oil and salt and baked until crispy. The seasoning can be changed to taste.
I paired these sweet potato fries with a burger but it also goes well with fish as well.
