Gluten Free Pizza (Garbanzo Bean Crust)

Spread the love

The pizza crust is made with garbanzo bean flour (chickpea). Not only is this gluten free, but the Garbanzo bean flour adds 20 grams of protein to the crust.  The recipe for the crust is simple, flour, water, salt and a little oil. That’s it! With this recipe there is no need to knead or roll out dough hoping to resemble a perfect circle. Then, the thin “dough” is baked in a frying pan so it takes on the perfect circle of the frying pan. You just have to make sure you have an oven safe frying pan (no plastic handles). Once the crust is baked, you assemble the pizza. Just add your favorite pizza sauce, mozzarella and favorite toppings
