Classic Apple Pie

Spread the love

This is a classic apple pie recipe. We are using Pillsbury pre-made pie crust for this recipe. Of course you can make your own crust. But after making it several times myself, I can tell you its not worth the time. Simply because its tough to get the right consistency with the dough, then it has to chill for a few hours then you have to roll it out again. And that’s time that I do not have these days. With this recipe the star is the apple filling. I choose to not use lemon but instead use a mixture of butter, flour and cinnamon and spices which I think gives it more of an apple crumb taste.

This is a classic dish perfect for your upcoming holiday celebration!
