Halloween Brain Cupcakes ( Chocolate Raspberry)

Spread the love

This Halloween I wanted to make something festive yet delicious. Is it possible to make a cupcake scary? Well I don’t know about that, but its definitely gory and gross (in a festive way). I thought the color of the raspberry puree would work well as fake blood, and would perfectly color and flavor the frosting. And nothing goes better with raspberry than chocolate. So naturally, the cupcake base is chocolate cupcakes.

For the Brain design I used a small round tip to make the brain squiggles. And made a larger line down the center to distinguish the left and right hemisphere. I topped it off with some Raspberry puree (hold the seeds) to look like fake blood and really bring the brain to life. This is the perfect treat for a festive, semi scary, Halloween Party!
