Easter Bunny’s “Carrot” Garden

Spread the love

Jesus turned water into wine and I’m turning Strawberries into Carrots. Well, sort of.

For Easter I wanted to make something simple, easy, and fun. This is one of those posts where its not the recipe that is complicated but rather how you present it. Sure anybody can make pudding. But its how you transform it into a festive dessert that changes your final product.  For anything chocolate pie and pudding, my go-to brand is My-T-Fine pudding and pie filling. but honestly any instant chocolate pudding such as Jell-O brand will do.

The fun part about this recipe was transforming the strawberries into freshly plucked carrots. The easiest way to do this is to buy Wilton Candy Melts.

Leave the leaves on the strawberries and coat them in the melted Chocolate. Once fully dry use a plastic bag (as a piping bag) to drizzle horizontal lines to look like carrot ridges. Dress it up with scattered crushed Oreos.

  • Once the strawberries are cooled. Cut a small hole in the corner of the zip lock bag, Use this bag as a piping bag and dizzle horizontal lines over the strawberry to form ridges like a carrot.
