Are you ever in the mood for a milkshake but don’t want the calories? Well the Chocolate Banana Shake takes care of that for you . The Banana gives this drink a ice cream texture without the sugar and calories. Its very simple to make too. Just stick an unpeeled banana in the freezer a few hours before. Then add all the ingredients below into the blender and blend until the ice is crushed and there is still texture. The hardest part about this recipe is not over-blending. If you over-blend then it will be too liquidy an will not have that milkshake texture.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large ripe banana peeled and frozen
  • 2 TBSP cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup ice approx 5 ice cubes

Instructions

  • Put all the ingredients into a blender and puree until thick and frothy. About 20 seconds. Do not over mix or it will be very liquidy.
