Its almost Super Bowl Sunday, the day where we yell at all star athletes that we could do better then them. All while stuffing our faces with the impressive spread of pizza, wings, chips and dip. There is also a low key competition of who brings the best dip. No matter how your team does in the game, you can win the tailgate. This is the dip that will crush the competition with its uniqueness and flavor. The Potato part is the chips, while the “loaded” part is the dip. Id recommend serving with chips with ridges or crispy waffle fries for extra potato flavor.

Not only is this dip unique, its also super easy to make. You will need to cook the bacon, Follow our instructional post on how to cook The Perfect Bacon, then mix the rest together and serve. Its that easy!

To make it more healthy, you can use reduced fat cheddar cheese, reduced fat sour cream, and turkey bacon.

Loaded Baked Potato Dip

Ingredients

  • 8 Slices Bacon
  • 8 oz Sour Cream
  • 8 oz Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/3 cup Chives (chopped)
  • 1 pinch Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Cook the bacon in a frying pan until crispy. Blot oil on a paper towel. Then crumble the bacon
  • Meanwhile mince the chives
  • Combine Sour Cream, Cheddar Cheese, Chives, Bacon, Salt and pepper
